Paint/Refinishing
Whether your vehicle’s paint has suffered at the hand of a neighbor with a
chip on his shoulder, some creep who plowed into your car, or simply Mother
Nature’s doings, we can quickly get your car back in tip-top shape.
The first thing to determine is whether your car can do with just a spot fix
or an overall paint job. [Though contrary to what might seem logical,
sometimes spot-fixes aren’t as feasible because they can actually cost just
as much, if not more, than an overall painting.]
Then we’ll discuss the many paint options SheerMetal customers can choose
from, ranging from basic, high-grade enamel to urethane with a basecoat and
clearcoat. We only use high quality factory-spec paint provided by PPG
Industries and can perfectly match any auto-manufacturer’s
original paint specifications. We stock thousands of auto paint colors in
quality formulations.
We’ll provide, in writing, a date and time when you can expect your vehicle to
be ready for pickup. Expect a quick turnaround and amazing results: perfectly
matched color with no runs or marks. And we’ll also give you a lifetime
warranty for your peace of mind.
Our two paint booths can be used

Overall Auto Paint
You should consider painting your entire car when…
-
You plan to sell your vehicle and want to make a profit
-
Nature has caused fading, peeling, cracking or dullness
-
You just want it to look good!
Older cars benefit most from overall painting, too. We provide a richer shade
that gets noticed, while restoring the original luster.
Spot Paint
If your auto’s paint finish is fine, but only a small area is damaged, ask for
spot painting. This multi-step process blends your old finish with the new
paint in various stages. Afterwards, a clearcoat is applied to match the gloss
and finish. |
